Back to School and kids growing up
Yes, I am here. Busy as ever with my school and trying to keep kids from killing each other, trying to implement chores, routines, and to have some good quality family time. This summer was tough! The highlights of the summer was having my mom and dad come out here, and my sister and her kids out here. It was a great time! We went to lagoon and had family get togethers. Crista and Calli got to fly to San Diego. I was nervous about sending them by themselves to California but they loved it! I felt I could breath again when I knew they were safe with grandma! Alec went to 7 peaks water resort with his uncle. Caidin and Caitlin just had fun being little. I feel as though my little people are growing up way too fast! Just this week I sent my first born to High School. I cried. Yes, I cried. I waited until I was in the parking lot so he wouldn't be embarrassed. He's such a good kid! I am so blessed to have a boy like him! My life would be incomplete without him! In five years he will be putting in his papers for a mission. Fourteen years went by so fast and I know 5 is just around the corner. I hope that I will be able to prepare him for life challenges, that he will be able to withstand the temptations of the world, that he will strive to do what is right. Will he be ready for this trying world? I'm just in awe in how my kids grow up right before my eyes. Have I taught them all what they need to know?

I would have cried too. I need some pictures now of these kids growing up too fast! You are a wonderful mother!!
You guys did have a busy summer. Your kids are all fabulous. I really can't believe Alec is in highschool. I know 11 isn't so little but it just seems weird he's all grown up. Wasn't he just starting to pass the sacrament? What a fine boy you've raised (all your kids really!).
Those are some deep thoughts and I worry about the same thing. We aren't going to high school yet but still, being a mom has a lot of responsibility!!
You are too young to have a child in high school! your kids are all so great. I think you are doing a great job of teaching them to walk the straight and narrow.
